Li Auto's Li i6 Hits 150,000th Production Unit — Nine Months After Launch

Li Auto announced that the 150,000th Li i6 all-electric SUV rolled off the production line on June 20, 2026, marking a rapid production acceleration for the model launched just nine months ago. The milestone comes less than three months after the company celebrated its 100,000th i6 unit in early April, according to the company's official announcement.

The Li i6, which launched in September 2025 with a starting price of 249,800 yuan, has seen production climb steadily through 2026. In late March, the 80,000th unit rolled off the line, followed by the 100,000th on April 10. By June 10, the company had reached 140,000 units, according to reports from CnEVPost and Internet Info Agency. The latest 10,000 units were completed in just 10 days.

Li Auto's production capacity for the i6 has ramped up significantly. In mid-March, the company produced 20,000 units in 21 days, and by June it was delivering over 20,000 units per month for the third consecutive month, according to Internet Info Agency. Li Xinyang, Li Auto's product line head, broke a months-long silence on March 10 to confirm the production ramp was on track, Gasgoo reported.

Li Auto is expected to announce its next production milestone for the i6 in the coming weeks, with analysts tracking whether the model can sustain its monthly delivery run rate above 20,000 units through the second half of 2026.
